Southern California karters

Fellows,

Are there any Southern California karters in this forum?

I am moving back to SoCal full time in August and I am looking for people with whom I could share my introduction to karting.

I have been involved with racing for years (mainly in Brazil, organizing F-3, F-Ford, touring and endurance races, bikes too), but I just don't know anyone in SoCal, and I have never raced karts before (my racing experience is only on rallying).

I thought it would be interesting to get in touch - and maybe helping (I am an engineer)- someone already doing it so I could get better acquainted with this discipline.

Woa... so i googled karting in southern California because I'm interested in getting into the sport and the first thing that comes up is this post.... And I noticed that Muzza now lives in Newbury Park.... Well guess what... I'm right next to you in Thousand Oaks.

In the states it seems like ekartingnews.com gets most of the traffic, although there may be some club specific sites that do more in your particular area.
