I'm not worried about the grid for 2018.
I agree. At the moment just the WTCC teams seem a little bit quiet. Surely they're working hard to make deals

Historically most announcements from private teams were made in February, so I agree as well - no need to panic.

Not sure about 26 full season entries though, but definitely there will be more than 20.

WTCC announcements were always late. Same for TCR Int last year.

What can they do about it? Giving teams huge discount if they enter a Hyundai instead of Kia?

BTW DG in your name stands for your last name, you are not linked to the DG team?

I don't think I'm really allowed to tell all the details. All I can say is that KIA and Hyundai are related and that Hyundai found a way to 'discourage' teams to enter the KIA...

I'm not linked with DG Sport, haha I know a couple of people working for the team, however.

Well, looks like WTCC is saved by going to the TCR route instead of Class One, which is not viable.

Well as we saw from TC1 more spectacular cars does not mean better racing, which is what the fans want to see

Great looking livery for Dupont. All racecar liveries should be made by Belgians

Isaac Tutumlu Lopez has also been sharing Audi RS3's on social media with the hashtag #WTCR

So maybe another driver there

Very nice - he's quite fast and as far as I can tell from running into him once at a Creventic race a really nice guy.

Didn't Isaac Tutumlu famously roll a Proteam Racing BMW 320TC at Sonoma about 5 years ago?

That was Felice Tedeschi.

Tutumlu raced for first 3 rounds in 2012 and then suddenly parted ways with Proteam. Hasn't impressed to be honest.

Ah, I stand corrected. Clearly neither made a significant mark on the WTCC.

Nice to hear this, if it's true.
About time that Shedden prove that he is top driver.
I would like to see more drivers from BTCC in international races.

WRT have been approached for comment by TouringCarTimes, but have declined at this time.

Sorry for the subject change, but does anyone know what happened to the MINI TCR project from LAP Motorsports/MINI USA?
They've been very quite on the project for a while....
