Maurer Motorsport

This is sort of WTCC related but thought it deserved it's own thread.

Maurer Motorsport have brought a couple of RHD ex-work Chevrolet Lacettis for use in the German ADAC Procar series. They are also planning a limited WTCC programme.

That good news both for the WTCC and the ADAC Procar series, they walked away with last year championship when they ran a couple of ex-BTCC MG ZR's (those cars have now been re-purchased by WSR).

Hopefully we'll see those cars in action at Assen again. Was fun in 2005 with the MG's and Ford Focus cars

That is great to see Chevrolet and the Lacetti will get some add'l track time in Germany. It's a shame to see that car sit around in Chevy's raceshop. Will the cars be stock in '05s or will they get '06 aero/engine upgrades?
