If you go to the chassis history archive and Page 9 you will be in GRD land.
Someone may be able to do a link , not I. The number on the roll over bar is the SCCA scrutineering number , 19 a particular area of the USA. Last edited by Bryan Miller; 11 Aug 2016 at 04:56. Reason: Additional information. |

Elliot
Car first registered in SCCA in Southern California, Jan 1978 Allen Coy should be able to tell us who the first user was there, as Cal Club records survive that far back. Car must be older than that but probably a cheap import from Europe at that point. Chris |

Just checked against the patchy results I have for 1978 Cal Club and the photos of the body correlate with what I have.
David Head, of Torrance, CA, with #5 GRD is in the entry list for Riverside national 28 May 1978, so he's probably your first US user. Car was entered as an FB so either a twin cam or BDD in the back Finishes 6th in a regional at Riverside 20 August 78. There are quite a few old Southern Californian guys on the F.Atlantic group on Facebook, might be worth joining and posting pictures there to see if it rings bells. |
