1987 WTC Group A Volvo 740 Turbo - the black beauty that never raced
Does anyone have any pictures and any information on the proposed factory Volvo Group A 740 Turbo?
A black prototype of a race car was built during 1986-87, but it never got to race. There were two key reasons, as far as I am aware: 1) the WTCC ended after one season and Volvo did not want to just race in the ETCC in 1988. 2) Volvo went totally anti-motorsport. Any weblinks, pictures, etc would be greatly appreciated. |
