In the event of a severely damaged car - who is liable for funding a replacement?
Plato has been unable to generate enough backing for a replacement Subaru, and the overall 888/BMR effort seems to be operating on less than all cylinders at the moment.

It does not look good for the long term prospects:
They seem to be short of testing, lacking the capability to replace damaged cars and now down a good driver too.

best way for Warren Scott would be to somehow survive to season end and then downsize and sell off some TBL

I suppose Warren can always register himself as a driver if needs must, and turn the bare minimum of laps to make it look like something more than a token effort to retain his TBL

Nowt to stop Mr Scott handing back a TBL to Mr Gow other than pride. Jeff Smith did last year when Dan Lloyds backers didn't provide the promised backing.

If that car doesn't have a bum in the seat come Saturday then I expect trouble: Rob Austin had grief when Hunter Abbot skipped Knockhill to be with his about to give birth good lady, Dan Welch copped trouble too.

Will we see the farmer in the bent wreck?... and would he be better off stickering up one of his tractors instead?

P.S. did JP run those Subarus in the end? I have heard nowt. JP is being way too quiet by JP standards.

Forgot that BMR/Triple Eight could lose their TBL if they don't use the car this weekend.

Is a certain Swiss driver, idolised by many in the 90s, and often spotted in rather loud shirts in the paddock, still kicking around? Purely for sentimental reasons I'd love to see him back - even if it was just for one round.

Which is already the reason Price is on the grid.

Do Eurotech still have a third Civic? Wonder if it's possible for Dan to jump in with them again? (Obviously funds and TBL permitting)

I don't recollect it being sold, or Smithy/Goffy bending their cars so would imagine it is sat in the shop. Lloyd was very promising in that car, would be great to see that combo back on the grid 😀

Eurotech still have 3 cars.
Goff is in the car used by Depper last year.
Smith is in the car used by Lloyd last year.
Smith's car from last year is now the spare.

That was a bit out of the blue, such a shame for Lloyd, still yet to do a full season

The quality of drivers has gone up again this season, so I'm hopeful we continue with his replacement, even if the MG is hardly a tantalising prospect ATM

If there's a moderator in the house, could you please split out the BTCC streaming media vs. TV debate from this thread into a new one?
