rbs should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I liked the unsuccessful Piper GTR that Tim Lalonde drove in the late 60's.

Silly nosed 1952 C-Types. Someone recently went for a replica of it a few years back.

As said never really appreciated the French plastic stuff apart from the CD Panhard and the Alpine A 220.

Lola Mk6

Remember seeing the Lola Mk 6 GT at Elkhart Lake in June 1964 being driven by Augie Pabst. It was in it's early version, without the fender bulges, for its time it was simply breathtaking, it just needed more time to be sorted. At the time John Mecom (Houston oil tycoon) was buying up and underwriting racecars everywhere, Corvette Grand Sports to Indycars (underwriting Stewart and Hill at Indy in '66, good picks, I'd say). Mecom's interest in the Mk 6 development helped make it into a seminal design for future success at Le Mans, in the form of the Ford GT40.
