50 Larbre Corvette in the wall. Fairly hard hit but very little damage to the car. Tyre barrier needs rebuilt.

Corvette. Officially tougher than tyre barriers.

Nothing major, just some procedural stuff. How circuit temperatures are monitored. For example in F1, Pirelli do the circuit temperature every 15 minutes and provide that data to the teams. Here, teams and tyre engineers do it but there's external weather stations and different people are measuring in different places, so the data we get here isn't as reliable or consistent as F1 data.

She was saying that this weekend is an engineers dream. Constant temperatures, very little variation in temperature, precipitation, humidity expected. So you can get a good baseline, that's valid and useful. Teams have the perfect opportunity to run through their programs for 2 days without interruption or weather issues messing with the expected outputs.

The new tyres' graphic could be very useful in the race, I hope they show that a lot when we need the info.

One thing that caught my attention is how much faster the LMP1s are on places like the turn-in to the Ford chicanes when compared to the LMP2s and GTs and that, together with the increased straight line speeds of the lower classes, will force the LMP1 drivers to overtake mainly on the corners which will lead to more of the Hartley/Dumas incident that we saw at Spa, imo

Also, Lotterer believes that Jani's lap record will be beaten
