I can only agree with everything said above, I have also known Chris and Sue for a good few years. I was only talking to Chris as we handed in our radios on Saturday evening. As stated above a warm and friendly lady who did so much for the marshals club. RIP Sue you will be greatly missed.

I never (knowingly) met Sue in person but corresponded with her via post & email in my formative marshaling years. She made a nervous newbie feel welcome to the marshaling family & I'm sure will be sorely missed by those who knew her better than I. My condolences to Chris at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear this news. Like The Flagman, I had flagged several times with Sue and she was always good for a laugh and very professional with her flagging. She is far too young to go. Thoughts with Chris and family.

Funeral arrangements
Received this from Chris (please read to the end):
"At last I can let you have the funeral details: · There will be a short ceremony at The Counties Crematorium, Towcester Road, Northampton NN4 9RN for close family and invited guests at 14:45 on 24th July. · This will be followed by a service of remembrance at St Michaels Church, Stocks Hill, Silverstone NN12 8UW, at 15:30, all are welcome to attend · Following this everyone is invited to join us for a bite to eat at the White Horse PH also in Stocks Hill Silverstone. No flowers please but if you wish to remember Sue please make a donation to: Justgiving.com/remember/75487/Sue-Whitlock , or www.justgiving.com/Sue-Whitlock1" Chris would like to see no black, please - smart casual is acceptable.
