The entry forms for Monaco 2010 ("invitation application") can now be downloaded from the ACM website. They have to be in by Feb 15.

Unfortunately the ACM see what others charge for "prestige" events (TdF, Le Mans, Mont Ventoux etc.). And the trouble is they get full grids all the same. They have a major sponsor lined up as well for 2010 (a Swiss bank). Also there is a Hollywood film (Somethingator 2) which will come out next year and which uses scenes from the 2008 Historic GP, all blended in by the magic of digital cinema with some robotic man/machine who transforms himself and saves the world on the last lap. The ACM will get lots of money for this but I am sure the drivers who unwittingly play a part will get peanuts (if that). I think Monaco will soon be making more money from the Historic GP than any other event in the Principality. Ah well...

Yes, apparently the "other" Grand Prix has been brought forward one week, so this one has to move as well. As far as I know Christmas is still on December 25th, but they are waiting confirmation.

My entry has been sent. Question for Marcus ."when do we find out if we are in or not"?.

If any serious driver here wants a crack at winning Monaco in 2010 then Rob Moores' immaculate Ex Derek Daly Championship winning 1977 Chevron B38 could be available to the right driver with the right budget. PM me if you’re interested.

Better get your skates on. I think entries close next Monday. Successful applicants will be informed no later than March 2nd (if I understand the ACM website correctly).
