Free Mini and free Porsche !

have you seen the 2 new magazines out in UK which give you a free car ? One gives away a Mini and the other has a free Porsche. Corgi model cars of course! they are stuck to the front so you cant miss them I think the Mini one is £2.99, im not sure about the Porsche.

The TV advert said 'normal price £6.99', so you're better off just buying the models from Toys'r'us.

Woody,

The first issue was indeed £2.99, subsequent issue will be £6.99 (according to the ad').

Woody, I believe the two mags are by the same publisher, but don't hold me to that.

I bought the Mini one (obviously!) but I'll not be buying any more. I had hoped that each issue might be devoted to the model of car on the cover. Not so. The first issue had 6 (ish) pages of Mini trivia, and that was it. The info is just too thin, and if you're a fan of any one particular marque, it's likely you've seen all the photos and read all the blurb already.

And the quality of the models isn't great either.
Best bit is the matchbox-style er... box to keep 'em in.

Unless you're a total Porsche nut, or flippin' nuts about classic cars, I wouldn't bother.
