Silverstone Nov 23/24
Is anyone planning to race and/or freeze and/or get soaked at this meeting - 2CV / Saloon / Silverstone School single seaters ?

I'm definately thinking about it..
In fact, I'm looking for anyone hiring/sharing a 2CV - as I'd love a go, and the entry fee is bloody cheap! |

With a few corrugated panels I would have thought the Mini could pass as a 2CV

I'll be there, all 3 days Jos.. Plenty of time to say hello
I seem to remember Rod suggesting he'd be there in the open saloon race.. |

In answer to the earlier question, yes it is the same Rod Birley that posts here. He drives a WRC Escort normally.

I was most disappointed to see Stacy struggling to keep ahead of that silly sod in the 2CV who was allowed out before his race to get his 3 laps in...!!
Fun day out - well done to Rod, Chris and Peter Cate who all entertained us during the course of the day. |

Actually wasn't me, the Alfa was the course car in the pitlane who drove round in front of the 2CV - I didn't hear who stepped in for that. Not being able to be in two places at once I stayed in collecting, in the blue breadvan. Stacy Last edited by Stacy; 24 Nov 2002 at 21:11. |

I know I did even if I got hit in one race and ended up in the gravel the other - wonderfully low key
