@META4 pick up the phone and make few phone calls to team managers and you will find out what money we're talking about.

Looks like it is apparently not the case anymore on Ten-Tenths forum and when i see the relevance of some posts nowadays i do not feel anymore "like at home" on this forum. I think "Bubble haters" (or key board warriors like you like to rate yourself) are winning the war against "Motorsport Insiders" (like I am and involved for over 15 years but i posted as a motorsport fan) on this forum. Look at some Threads from severall years ago and you will see that many insiders are not showing up on this forum.Makes me wonder why.... Time for me to say Bye Bye to this Forum . But you've turned up, and started slagging off a rival F3 series to the one you like for no reason other than you don't like it. Are you surprised people don't react kindly to that?
And I wouldn't say you were a "Motorsport Insider". You seem to know very little. |

ah, the grandstand. it's been a few months since the last one.
the thing is, discussion is about hearing opposing views, taking them into account, and presenting a counter-arguement to that. saying "it's crap, there's been no decent drivers"... well ok, you've provided evidence that there hasn't been any f1 drivers but you've not come back and challenged the original points with anything other than "yes, but it's rubbish". so that's why myself and others are working out what your agenda is! we've all got them one way or another. trust me, this place is very mild-mannered. there's been nothing aside from the things i have dealt with that require moderation. so on that basis, i'm not sure what the problem is. unlike tristancliffe, i'm not going to call your status into question (stop that, by the way. playground stuff). we all hide behind images and perceptions here, and at the circuit too. but it's not really fair to point the finger at us when in fact it's just you're unhappy with the fact that people are challenging your standpoint. |

I'll second what bella has said.
Furthermore, I think it is fair to say that whilst some people would dearly love to know who's who on Tenths and what hides behind the member names most people couldn't care less, it isn't essential to a friendly forum where enthusiasts can talk about stuff close to their hearts. What is certainly ISN'T about is for people to continually bang a drum of discontent or complain about things just becuase it isn't their thing so to speak. To be honest this thread has gone waaay too far down the wrong track and if people don't start respecting each others views and discussing it fairly, the best thing will be to close it I think? No more aggro please! |

The Euro F3 Open is testing today and tomorrow in Barcelona.
Will be the first season in this series for countryman Facu Regalia with Campos Racing. Hope he does well! |

27 drivers announced so far, split 12x F312 and 15x F308 Copa - and I know at least one team is going to announce more yet. Not all out at Portimao this weekend, for various reasons, but still a fine entry.

How do the 08 cars compare to the new ones, does anyone know?
I'm looking forward to seeing how Cerruti does. I watched Superstars series last year (in which she was a race winner) and I respect her for giving that up to follow her dream of a single seater while she still can. |

A few thoughts;despite F2 & GT Open also on the program there seemed to be hardly a single spectator on the premisesThey need to find somewhere more interesting to race. 2,just how many euro F3 series are there?Autosport lists first round of FIA euro F3 & F3 euro series at Hockenhiem-nothing at Algarve-for some reason I expected to see Hockenheim on Motors TV.Read somewhere that the british F3 series was merging with a euroseries for the Pau round-which one? |

a weekend ticket including paddock was €35 before you started wanting a seat for the big grandstand. the locals aren't made of money, something that like in the uk, they don't seem to realise... i think just a sunday general admission ticket was about €15, but if you can't get into the paddock it leaves you feeling very disconnected from the event, doesn't it?

Having been there with British F3, the LMS and now the European F3 Open twice, it's a great facility but difficult to see how it would attract a big crowd due to its location.
Some great racing this weekend, particularly from the GTs and F3s, although it rained each morning which won't have helped with casual crowds either. |

It's on May 11/12/13. The new FIA European Formula 3 Championship has absorbed this British round into its calendar and so has the F3ES. I think that's right. This may be the future.

Many of the F312s were very new and there were, inevitably, a few teething issues so realistically they will only get quicker. |

Then what does it mean? There is a world need of a second F3 league. F3 Open is a perfect second league. Good grid, and good numbers.

Not sure entirely what you mean, but an excellent 26 cars this weekend, certain to be one or two additions in the next couple of rounds as well.
