Red Bull have just re-signed with Renault for a PU supply for 2017 and 2018, whilst Toro Rosso have re-joined also for the same two years.

After today's Monaco GP and Ricciardo's pitstop, a failure to communicate properly. Maybe that's been their problem all a long? Multi 21.

I suspect that Max's win in Spain excepted, RBR have been out of the race winning loop and they may not be as race sharp as a result, that's two bad calls in 2 weeks (and I think it is just unlucky the DR got both of them).

When you are not in a race winning or even podium position regularly the small operational errors go unpunished. Pat Symonds said that Williams had slipped operationally during their years in the 'wilderness' and once they had a front running car again, they had to sharpen the operational side of the team up across all areas.

That's a good point, it seems experience at running up front is key. They should improve as the season goes on

He will be aware that at the moment RB offers him the best chance of wins and perhaps a world championship, Mercedes is full and ferrari well not an option if you want to win races at the moment

Would be interesting to have another 76 style season, but not necessarily having Rosberg burned, although he could be banned a la Schumacher 94. But it probably won't happen this year

It could be interesting, what with Lewis and Nico fighting one another - Danny and perhaps Vettel could sneak up on the Mercedes guys in the WDC - much like Prost managed to stay in touch with the Williams guys(despite having the inferior car) in 1986.

As for Red Bull - doesn't seem like much is wrong with them. They probably have the best chassis and aero(much like previous years) - and the engine seems better this year. It's just their strategy that needs working on.

Yes Red Bull have a good chassis. If they had a Merc engine they would be unbeatable

The best chassis is the STR... which is partly why RB want to bring the two teams closer together again on engine and design philosophies.

At the moment the thing wrong with Red Bull is pitstops. Especially for car 3 !?!?!?

Spain - Woeful strategy call from pit wall
