Race Director: WAAAAAH!

I cannot sign onto Race Director. All I get is THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.

I tried the "start subscription now" page and got THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. THE SERVER IS NABLE TO LINK TO THE WEB PAGE REQUESTED.

Has this thing ever worked for anybody and is it working now for anybody?

It worked for me during Long Beach qualifying.

Haven't used it since - all the races are live on TV.

I think that may well be a program you need to download.

It's in Tools>Internet Options/Security/Custom

There are a number of security issues over Active-X so it tends to be set to off, but with a firewall, there should be little to worry about.

The problem has been solved by re-installing Windows XP. Whatever was hanging it up has now gone away.

Now no matter what TSN does, I'm covered! Hurrah!

Race Director worked, for us, now that we paid for it (couldn't get it on the free trial). I loved the Paul Tracy audio. It was quite entertaining. I have a feeling, he hates corner workers, right now (lack of blue flags). Even Bordais mentioned there weren't any blue flags, as he exited his car.

It was nice to have the choice to switch to another channel during "lifestyle" breaks and watch somebody drive his car in wordless joy. It also means I don't have to write my race report 4 hours before I have to get up and go to work.

I like Race Director. Now that it works.

Actually there were TONS of blueflags, they were used quite liberally all over the festival curves, and turns 5/6. The problem is the drivers weren't responding to them and the stewards weren't penalizing drivers who were ignoring them. This may sound harsh, but Tagliani and Orial Servia both should have been given black flags. Both of them held up PT for 4-5 laps in a row and really ruined PT's race. I'm not saying PT could have passed Bruno and Sebastien but he was keeping a constant distant until traffic screwed him over time and time again. I'm not even a PT fan, but I felt bad for him anyway. I expected him to go off when he was interviewed after the podium but he didn't, he was very diplomatic about it. Oh and by the way I was at the race, so thats why I know this stuff that wasn't shown on TV.
