I think Messrs Reid and Giltrap may be business partners, so I;d be surprised if it was anything more than an effort to raise the team's profile within NZ, in order to generate sponsorship. Bring in a Name to generate column-inches. I think sponsorship has been difficult to come by this year, the first year. More difficult than was envisaged, for many teams. You'll find other teams doing similar things, and there will be more of the same still to come
