Yes it was shifting a bit! I think I lapped almost every car on the track apart from Fazza, the black BMW Z4, Tony's Nissan and a couple of other very fast cars! It just felt so good out on track that I stayed out there quite a long time.

Ahh, and I even slowed down for you

Anyway it's called Ruby Black as there's supposed to be some red in there...somewhere...but it's covered in fly innards anyway!

That sneaky day at Oulton last week really paid off, otherwise I'd have been overtaken by everyone, including the Ka & broken Nissan!

It was my first trackday in a new car, so didn't know how it would handle compared to my old barge - it did rather well, although I realise I'm the weak point now!

And if only I had my carbon brakes, carbon roof, carbon diffuser, coilovers, sticky tyres, dymag wheels, etc. I could lose another 150kg (and about £15k too).

How long would it take to recover that £15k assuming I gain 1-2mpg from the weight reduction and do 20,000 miles a year at 25mpg?

Aaargh! It's way too late for those kind of calculations....

Seriously though, it was no problem letting you get past, just to see how you got through Knickerbrook. Looked great.

My 200 was great but let down by the standard suspension so it "boated" quite badly. Yet, it's way too hard on the shopping run.

Yup, stuff the eggs, we're getting some coilovers!!

I don't think that mitigation plan is going to excite my bank manager or accountant then

You would save 70 gallons of crude oil a year though so the EU might like it
