No, I was misreading the regulations.
A built racing chassis by 2016 year can change the engine location, according to the regulations 5.1.
So, 2016 model Prius can swap the engine location.
Cheat rules!

Okay, so we'll have a MR Prius after all I presume.

Still, the organization should make the regulations very clear next time.

Do you mean a 2016 chassis can be MR if the road car model is made in 2015? Since the '2016' model year Prius is actually built this year?

The chassis built by 2016 year is okay.
Production year of base model is unrelated.

Then why ARTA don't use Honda CRZ GT to participate the next season of SUPER GT ????

@Japanese Samurai

But Honda CR-Z road car is still in production.

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CR-Z

Even if Honda CR-Z is discontinued Why Honda does not allow ARTA to use Honda S660 or Honda NSX GT3 or brand new midshipped Honda Civic ( or hybrid version) ???

And How they predict ARTA team is using BMW M6 GT3 (possible) ?????
But not the other GT3 car manufacturer like AMG GT3

Ask ARTA or (Honda) HRD Sakura.

You are wrong!!!! (for the prediction of ARTA participation by using BMW M6 GT3 next season)

For the prediction of ARTA team using BMW M6 GT3 (possibly) , you need to ask Autosport magazine

@AkioAsakura95
Ask them directly instead of letting someone do the questioning for you.

Meanwhile, it's a missed opportunity for Honda to put the CR-Z back in action after Japanese Samurai provided a clear explanation of the GT300 regulations.

I guess they're busy doing damage control on their struggling racing programs like Formula One and Super GT.

I guess you need more certainty about ARTA on GT300 participation, so the only thing I can say is to ask directly to related team (ARTA in this case).

Seems logical. Honda's GT500 cars currently aren't as good as RC F or GT-R so I think it's natural for Honda to focus on GT500 (even though it means stopped involvement in GT300). Besides that, Honda already reached its goal at GT300 (winning races and championship).

Adjusting MR layout (coupled with its hybrid system) into chassis tub which is more suitable to FR layout cars is not easy for sure.

@Japanese Samurai
Speaking of the ARTA M6 GT3 prediction case:
I found that Team Studie BMW Z4 GT3 and BMW Z4 GT3 engine and ARTA HSV-010 is in super autobacs nagoya bay and I found that super autobacs nagoya bay is connected to Studie Nagoya branch shop.

According to MFi magazine,
the hybrid system weight of NSX-GT is 28kg.
its MGU's potential power is 60kW.
(It's restricted to max 21kW (max 880kJ/per lap) by regulations.)
Nsx can't use up 880kJ in SUGO because there is a few full throttle zone.
