third place in the WDC?
With Michael and Rubens securing the first two positions in the WDC, the battle for third is still up for grabs. Who do you think will get it? JPM has 47 points, Rafe 42 and DC 41. Both Rafe and DC need to finish a minimum of 2nd at Japan to get that place, with JPM not scoring. JPM obviously likes the circuit, he finished 2nd in his only attempt at the track last year, but it hasn't been so kind to DC and Rafe. DC's finished 3rd three times (his only points at the track) and Rafe has finished 5th and 6th. With the way the Ferraris are going reliability and speed wise, can DC or Rafe do it? What do you think?

It would take one of the Ferraris not finishing the race... can't see it happening, now that Rubens also enjoys great reliability. Therefore, JPM for third.

DC does'nt have a chance (needing both Williams, a Ferrai and Kimi to all DNF or finish behind him) and Ralf is'nt looking good either.

Ralf needs to finish 2nd in Japan with Monty DNF. While the latter is possible, the former is unlikely.

Does anyone ever remember who wins silver? Although 3rd place in the WDC doesn't mean much in terms of history and records, 3rd place ahead of your team mate in 4th or even 5th means alot more.
