Qualifying format
Hi all,
Just wondering if a qualifying format has been sorted out, and what we all think. I would like to see a format that enabled countries to, for example, fuel light to move up. I think it's essential to the series that as many countries as possible share some of the limelight, particularly in the inaugural season. |

Qualifying will probably run on a traditional low fuel format.
Then there's a short race on race day - and that will set the grid for the main event. |

Yeah, the quali race, not really sure I like that idea.
I mean, it will sort the cars more or less on race performance for the main race, which will surely mean there won't be much 'sorting out' of the pack to do during the main race, which will mean next to no racing... |

I agree, although it will give us two starts which might be exciting.

I think the qualifying race may throw up a few wildcards - frontrunners messing up, midfielders getting a good start, which could shuffle the pack for the "Grand Prix"
