Gents the 3rd race is offered totally free of charge and is optional . It was just away of say sorry to the competitors for being messed about ! Which I thought was a very nice gesture ...

I agree Andy - a very nice gesture.
If we have race 1 on Sunday and the last race on Sunday, that's plenty of time to fix most fixable things!! |

Looking forward to Saturday.
Hi Guys, I am able to get to Mallory on Saturday August 3rd, but not Sunday the 4th due to travelling south on the Sunday, but I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can. Hope the weather is good. See you on the Saturday.

Not seen the results of the survey yet, but personally I hope that we can find a place for these sorts of cars to race with us, along with the Eurocars, if only in an Invitation class:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...yabusa/1707577 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...-coupe/1750168 The cars that we see already are fantastic but the series needs bigger grids, and I'm not sure of the real difference between these cars above and the "Honda CRX" that we sometimes see competing in the series (Invitation class, I think) or the relatively recent builds of cars such as the Chevy engined Morris Minor! How about some of the of the AMOC Super GT cars? They don't seem to have a place to run anymore; I'd love to see Richard Chamberlain's "935" running, a David Ellis AM, the Supercharged Alfa Sprint or a "Dallara X1/9" rep. At the other end of the scale, can we encourage some of the MG Spridget modsports type cars out? They are still racing. |

the crx has history as special saloon and raced back in the day and was imp bodied before the crx lid was fitted the chevy moggy although a new build "could" have been built and raced before 1993 in special saloons most of the amoc GT cars would be welcome ,but none have shown a interest |

I've also spoken with Richard Chamberlain, he has shown interest in coming out to play next year with the 935. It's still in rebuild at the moment following an engine fire, and will be even faster when it comes back out. No doubt after GT Cup have banned him, he'll come along..... There are a couple of other cars that he has dealings with that could come out too. I'll keep in touch over winter... Still haven't had a chance to contact the Thurtles with their Camaro.... |

Is there a full version of the regs? They sound quite loose. What class is the sc100 then? Fully spaceframed (+1) with a sequential gearbox(+1)? Who is best to contact about the classes / regs? I sent you a couple of pm's big Andy but not sure if they got as far as you. |

In that case, I suggest you contact Hugo Holder direct at the CSCC head office in Corsham - that way you will get the info straight from the horse's mouth so to speak!
