The closing stages of the Dakar
It's getting tighter at the top in the closing stages of the Dakar. Kleinschmidt won comfortably today, and closed in big time on Masuoka's lead after the latter lost some time due to wrong navigation. I couldn't believe it yesterday, when Fontenay actually collided with Masuoka! They could both have been out of it there. So, tomorrow sees the second half of this final marathon stage, and then the "parade" on Sunday. Unless something strange happens, we will probably know the winner tomorrow night. It'll be either Kleinschmidt or Masuoka, so either way I'll be happy. I favour Masuoka though. After what happened last year, it would be great if he could win this year.
