It seems that RS3 has a great success between TCR Germany teams. Very good. I hope for a huge grid next year.

They will have more cars in their second season than any other touring class in the world.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some ADAC GT teams move over as well, they've had quite an eventfull season there.

Shame there's no race at the Lausitzring to replace one of the Oschersleben rounds. Bit more variety.

Is it possible that GT Masters/TCR Germany run on some city circuit?
Like Norisring or something like AVUS? |

Avus hasn't been a thing for a long time. And Norisring is only one weekend a year and that's for DTM. GT Masters was a support race there once, but they really didn't like the experience, having to run at weird times of the day and being shuffled to the back of the paddock.

Not going to happen... nothing even on the horizon. The airfields really were a stop gap solution for when there were only two servicable tracks in Germany (Hockenheim and Nürburgring) - but now there's also Lausitz, Oschersleben and Sachsenring. I'd love to see something different than those for a change but I really don't see it happening.

There's the Berlin street track for Formula E but I can't see the city authorities shutting down for TCR.
Zeltweg is basically the Red Bull Ring (gone through many iterations), no? |

Interesting that those airfield tracks in Germany and Austria tended to be underwhelming, whereas the ones built on the perimeters of airfields in the UK, like Silverstone, Thruxton and Goodwood, are belters. But I digress. |
