Motordrome Stadium Challenge

A last challenge.

You see, I drove with a stadium offroading series, both in ATV's and MX bikes. Almost the entire series was run on temporary layouts in a "Motordrome Stadium." The stadium is massive, 750m x 500m. The stadium includes all neeeded lighting and stands. Since I recently received an invite to a BIO event they're hosting, I thought it would be interesting to see people try to fit a circuit (not a karting circuit) in this relatively small area. Buena fortuna!

(I expect something from you, Tortoise)

Just so I understand it's a rectangular space that is 750x500m, ?

Grandstands... are the grandstands within this space or are they on the outside border ?

Pits and paddock... again are they within or outside this area ?

The track are you looking for an MX circuit, a Mixed surface circuit, or a sealed surface ?

The Valencia Circuit Ricardro Tormo is a Stadium circuit used by MotoGP, that track but not the facilities fits within 1100x500m

The circuit was dirt. Now it should be tarmac. Pits can be fit in the circuit or on the outside periphery of it. The stands are outside and ring around this area. Paddocks also exist outside.

P.S. Thanks for Valencia's area, I was actually wondering.

Yokohama International Raceway

This was somewhere in the sub-forum before a while ago, but I know not where. Facilities fill an area of 500m x 500m.

This is quite a nice track with a great flow to it. But the pitlane exit must be changed for safety reasons. You cannot have cars leaving the pitlane rectangular to those braking for Turn 1.

Someone said that last time it was posted.

Design Zed

Unintentional Z-shaped layout. The outer edge of the paper is the 750x500m boundary. If SBF or someone could check the distance, that would be great. I tried, because of the predefined scale, but Sketchup was running very slowly for some reason. So, here we go anyway.

Much better! The GP circuit is approx. 2.7km. The infield hairpin may be a little tight, but apart from that I quite like it! Pits on the inside or outside?

inside pits, with the actual team base of operations outside and a small area inside just for pit-stops.

I made some design errors on this, but I'll be sure not to make them again.
