The - Pit - Walk.....................................

What does everyone think of this pit walk thing - bit of an insight into things we don't normally see.
Thank's Ten & Cromley.

It was good fun, a pity Cromley stopped at PWR... the whole FPR mob were standing out the front of their tent, almost busting to be on the teev

Impromptu stuff like that gets a good, polished but not PR-inspired chat from the crews...

Here's hoping it can continue at future rounds....

Actually it begs a bigger question... should Seriously run 2 days of teev for each round, to capture qualifying and racing etc etc?

They would, except for AFL.

(which is unfortunate, as I am from the Hunter, and no-one gives a rats about it here)

Well I wondered if it was planned, or something Cromley invented to fill in some spare time. The crews certainly werent prepared as if there were set up to be interviewed on camera...

... the PWR guys didnt look too happy at all... Mr Keed covering his notes in case some demon tweak or guru strategy got on camera....

...but why Cromley didnt grab Kees Weel as well, who was not far to the left of the two engineer types I dont know...

We hear and read enough from the "Team Principles" of the series, some WAAAAAY too much.

It was also good to hear some of the views of Rob Crawford on the Panelbeaters last night too.

Tell me, how many of the teams had the TV time today? I havent watched my Bathurst tape yet, was there a similar slot on the 1000 telecast?

Why not broadcast on Saturdays every round? You might here a muffled cough from someone decked out in Telstra Bigpond gear.

It wouldn't be in the best interest of the Big T.

I hope they continue the pit walk, its funny today watching some familar faces scurrying for cover when Cromley and crew went into PWR.

Ten would be mad not to make the most of what is sure to be an otherwise dull sport weekend on the tellie (Any one know if that silly game with wickets, stumps and bats are on that day?), especially after the last few weeks motorsport action, might be a bit far off with the poor retention of people such as myself . I guess Tassie is Sunday only?

It did look a bit impromptu to me but true to Crompton's knowledge, if he he was "padding" we got something out of it anyway.

Some of them looked a bit 'hare in the headlights'.

Unfortunately we couldnt get another run today instead of Mark Aisten's fantastic T & A show, AGAIN!!

Maybe for the future, another version with the guys who do the medical work, or the towies/flaggies/scrutes, impromptu is heaps better entertainment, hence the big idol brother island dancing realestate surviror cr@p that has invaded our teevs of recent time.

Funny, one of the first reality shows here was kinda racing related, Noelene & Laurie, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!!!!

Cromley is a natural.

He even bailed up a Champ car guru in one of the pits.
What was his name Paul Riggatoni? Raul Cabanossi? Paul Tortellini?

Whatever...
