Actually the tyres going up that slope is possible.

Imagine that on the inside of the wheel rim, there is a heavy weight at the top of the tyre.

When a force strikes the tyre from the side, the weight moves slightly to the other side, which causes the whole wheel to roll, even up a hill. It would stop rolling once the weight reached the bottom of the wheel, but by that time one wheel has struck the next one.

The exhaust rolling along the floor is also possible, using a liquid weight inside it.

...of course it was all CGI generated.

It strikes me as being an ad that is great the first couple of times but when you're into your fifth or sixth showing it'll start grating a bit.

If Honda's wheels are that unbalanced I advise all not to buy one! Good advert!

There was a article in yesterdays Metro (london) They were saying that the ad was ALL done for real! AND it was shot ill they got a full domino sequence. As for the wheels going up the ramp - how do we know it's up?

The camera angle could have been anything...

No CGI in this one, it took 6 months to make and the wheels are indeed weighted and if you watch it again you see it. after six months the last cut was done in a oner!!! it suprised me that it was real! but it is. Great advert though.
