Roy, have you been getting emails from the new BMMC system? I volunteered through that. I'm sure it's probably okay, but I'm just a little paranoid because I've never used it before, and it's not impossible that I've made a mistake or wrong assumption, somewhere.

Thanks!

Roy are chaps still in need for this? Tried going a few years ago but work go in the way and wouldn't mind giving it a go this year.

it is just nice to see what cars to expect beforehand..

Does anyone know if the usual generators will be in place on the marshals' campsite? Just wondering exactly how much of a rush to be in to get electrics on Thursday evening!

Silverstone Newbie

Hi folks,

This is going to be my first event at Silverstone since taking up marshalling at the end of last year.

After registering my interest for this event on marshals.org.uk, I have been e-mailed today to confirm sign-on is at the paddock bar between 7.15 and 8, and to inform that guest passes have been posted. As I didn't request any guest passes, I'm not expecting anything in the post.

Can anyone briefly describe where marshals should park their cars (I won't be camping), and where the paddock bar is in relation? I am sure there will be a steady stream of folk in orange I can follow once parked, but knowing my luck there won't!

Thanks, and I look forward to meeting some of you there
