here we go Niko Kari at Arden with Redbull backing, seems like links Between Horner (Arden) and Redbull are quite strong when you add Ticktum in Eurocup Fr2.0 at Arden too with Redbull backing

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Lavida my loco, they are extremely tight. I am surprised Red Bull was looking in other directions in the past when they were allocating their RB juniors and their sponsorship somewhere else.

Except they've placed two of their juniors at MP Motorsport. There's never been any exclusivity to Horner's formula teams.

Not exclusivity but definitly Arden has the favour of Redbull , the deal with Ticktum in Eurocup 2.0 is showing that way , Verschoor was already racing for MP in Formula 4 in 2016

Leonardo Pulcini joins Arden according Italiaracing.net

I didn´t see it coming as, despite he carried a test day with Arden, I was convinced he would continue racing under Campos Racing banner following their faultless season together in the EF Open.

I just don't see anything special in Pulcini at all, Sandy Stuvik levels of averageness at this level I fear.

I think you underestimate Pulcini. He has some of the best racecraft of anyone out there. This being said, that's almost irelevant in GP3 and his weak spot so far has been quali, so... should have done FIA F3 maybe? Kicked Habsburg's ass on a regular bassis last season so he could have probably done it again this year.

He tested Campos GP3 in Abu Dhabi, he knows them well... that's probably why he left. Still, they just hired a Koiranen chief engineer so they'll be back on top if they get some decent drivers. That's a big "if" though...

Stuvik looked good in euro formula open as well. Pulcini was completely annihilated by Rovera in their debut EF season, as I recall Rovera won the "rookie" trophy despite changing teams mid season and missing two rounds. As for Habsburg, well Pulcini should be beating him with a years more experience and a far superior car really shouldn't he.

Why don't you go further back and compare what Rovera and Stuvik did in karting to Pulcini's world championship title? A rookie season with DAV racing isn't exactly a benchmark now, is it? And I don't know if the Campos car was the reason or not, but he still had to drive it and made some spectacular moves doring the season against people like Aitken, Habsburg (who was driving much more than him i.e. Renault Eurocup or Macau GP) and Colton Herta - who is an absolute star!

Just saying... keep your eyes open for him and we will soon find out if he can do a good job or not...

Fair enough, we all have drivers that we look out for don't we, I will definitely keep an eye on GP3 this year, if he proves me wrong by all means feel free to remind me about it. 😉

Are Jenzer and DAMS folding their GP3 teams too?

Who doesn’t love a road trip. Just watch your blind side, kiddies. Or you’ll wind up blindsided.

Curiously, Koiranen's website is down as we speak - no posts on their social media accounts for a while either.

Koiranen is busy running the SMP Nec F4 championship as well as the spanish F4 championship , no point for them to be backmarker in GP3

Fair play!

On Koiranen: heard they are going bancrupt after drivers failed to pay up last season. Hope this is not true. One of their top engineers left for Spain. On a jetplane!

Funny you mention that... no schedules yet for either, and only 2 drivers announced (for Spanish F4).

Well we might not find out for a while because the season doesn't begin until May.

Nice to see Anthoine Hubert in at ART, a very classy driver, maybe not a title contender this year when you look at his team mates but definitely a win or two on the cards.

OK 1. DAMS is alive. http://www.gp3series.com/News/2017/0...-2017-line-up/

OK 2. Jenzer is also alive. http://readmotorsport.com/2017/02/28...season-jenzer/

Not OK. Koiranen seems quiet. Adjust for reception!

The "no comment" from Koiranen does not bode well for their continued presence in GP3.

Maybe it's time to take 50p deposits first and then run a driver. Did you guys hear about Rapax lawsuit agaisnt Sonangol? I know how it works, but this people try to run companies, they hire staff, whom they have to pay.
