Brab should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Swift 95 question.

Can anyone tell me the part number or road car application of the outer CV joint for a FF1600 SC95.

Its a front wheel drive type joint which protrudes through the hub and is retained by a large (32mm) nut.

I've looked at all the popular parts websites and asked around to no avail. I've also taken the existing one to a motor factors who wasn't able to help.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Ian.

Yes totally different to the inner, it is a GKN part but I can't match the stamped number on it to anything and neither can the motor factors. I've tried calling Swift Cooper Cars but no reply as of yet.

Here is a library picture of the type of joint I need.

Got a call yesterday evening from Swift - he didn't have the info needed but said he will get it and let me know. I will post the info here once I get it in case anyone else needs it in the future.

kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Having run a 95 swift in the past, I'm pretty sure its off a VW, probably a beetle of some description.

They most certainly are not a fancy item!
