Terry S should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Do 4 car teams have a future?

After the experiences of Tickford and Nissan I'd say four car teams will come to an end.

Too much diversion of resources.

How can you keep all the sponsors happy?

Just run two cars but do it well.

A lot of people in the paddock say the best option is to run a two car team. As you say Terry, too much of a division of resources to run a four or even a three car team. As for being on ones own with a single car team, there's a massive gap with development and data that a two car team has the luxury of.

Wouldn't be surprised come circa 2020 Kelly racing will revert to a two car team (either customer Camaro or possibly factory Kia) while giving a helping hand with the new team born out of the spare two REC's. Ditto for Tickford, wouldn't be surprised 23Red becomes a two car team again like their previous incarnation of LDM.

2 is better than 1, 4 is better than 3. Is 4 better than 2? Money, people and management will ultimately be the deciding factor.

As for the Kellys, the budgets from cars 3 and 4 have always propped up the development budgets for cars 1 and 2. Hence the Krate nomenclature.
