Having owned an XY, I like the Phase Three, though the understated look of the XR and XT are sure winners.

Mmmm....DB4.....mmmm (drool)
[TONGUE IN CHEEK MODE]
The only reason our cricket team is not that good is that we'd prefer to build a small number of quality, lovingly hand crafted cars than waste time on silly games [/TONGUE IN CHEEK MODE]

(ducks, again...)

Bad luck, mate. The Aston Martin DB4 GTZ as pictured was a limited styling exercise, limited to 19 units, designed and built by Elio Zagato - Italian.

Let's have a quick look at what was being styled and built in Australia in the early 1960s when Zagato was doing his riff on the already lovely DB4

May I present the all-Australian Lightburn Zeta?

Tim, you're very naughty

In fact, that car justifies the thread title by being thoroughly obscene!!

Like Tim said, that's the Zagato version above. Stunning.

I'm still adament that this is the most beautiful car Ferrari ever produced - the 612 Can Am. (there's a COLOSSAL V12 lurking in there too!!)

Must disagree with Tristan and his choice of Ferrari as being the most beautiful car ever. Not the CanAm Ferrari, but the slightly earlier P4 is IT in my humble opinion.
I thought Bella, if you took a look at the Evo GT1 Porsche, you'd be looking at the Farboud GT.

But why the years 1967-1971..... why not early 1960's (including lightweight e-type and early 60's Aston Martin's) to mid 1980's (includes road going versions of Group A and Group B cars)?

As for British cars with Italian bodywork..... why not? Or shall we also disallow aussie cars with US derived V8 engines?

Hang on!! Just because I diss Australian/American cars doesn't mean I think that mass-produced British have ever been anything better than god awful!!

Two words: British Leyland.

And yes, the Ferrari P3/4s are.... unreal!! $6,000,000-worth of unreal!! I would literally give my right arm. No, I would!!

But on PURE LOOKS, I've got to give it to the 612. I mean, it's automotive perfection.

Here's a very handsome modern car, the 147 GTA, equipped with THE Alfa V6, one of the finest production engines in the world.
