Does anyone please have full results including teams?

I wish this series had a proper website with results/points. They're doing a good job attracting foreign drivers over there, shame to let it down with a total lack of communication to the wider world.

I don't have full results but 5th was Jaffer, not Gill as I claimed earlier. Sorry.

Perhaps there's info on Usenet or Gopher, because the WWW doesn't seem to have reached Formula MRF yet.

I think Khani (4th and 3rd) took 3rd overall and the $20,000 prize.

Cannot find the full results for race two, which is proving very frustrating.

James Thorp had car problems in the opening race though, it was only running on 3 cylinders so he lost multiple seconds a lap.

King wins Delhi Championship with MRF

Jordan King, of Great Britain,17 years of age, drove a spectacular race and emerged the victor in the second and final race of The Delhi Championship with MRF here today. Starting the race from the second grid, Jordan gained the lead in the very first lap, lost it briefly to 22 year old, Kourosh Khani of Iran before claiming it back in style to finish a deserving winner. It was a gripping race that saw plenty of action on the track. Nick Percat, winner of the first leg of the championship spun out in the very first lap itself. Kourosh drove brilliantly to briefly take the lead and then lost out to both the winner and Alice on positions, coming an eventual third.
In all this, 18 year old, Alice Powell of Great Britain, drove a composed and technically correct race eventually completing second. Driving with verve she seized the first opportunity that came her way, squeezing past Kourosh to occupy second position which she held on till the end.

Jordan King said, “Yesterday I had mentioned that given a free track, I will dominate the race since I knew I had plenty of speed. Yesterday too, I was faster than Nick. Today starting on grid I was sure of doing well. I lost the lead due to a slight error on my part, but I knew I could make it up and immediately took over the lead once again. Once in the lead, my aim was to create a good gap behind me and once I achieved that I knew victory was mine.”

Alice Powell said, “I feel really good. An intense level of competition was seen over the last two days and for me to do well consistently, gives me great confidence. The car was good and responded beautifully. I knew that if I didn’t commit any mistakes, I would hold on to my position and that’s what I did. Its been a great weekend.”

Kourosh Khani said, “Feels great to come in third and to have briefly led the field. I am driving this car for the first time and as such it was more demanding. An error on my part saw me lose the lead, but I was aggressive enough to hold on and put great laps. Feels very good.”

2012 MRF Racing Series

For 2012 the MRF Racing Series will have a new carbon fibre chassis supplied by Dallara.

Interesting... I guess that will be Dallara's Formulino car, like used in ADAC Formel Masters?

And I agree with META4. Even a blog where reports and full results are posted would be a start. You know you can do that for free on blogspot or something! Instead, when you google the series this thread is the first result.

If it is the Formulino, that's gotta be good. They designed them several years ago before realising nobody wanted them. One of Dallara's few flops.

Juntos is a back marker
Now that lenders are no longer willing to continue subsidizing the party, will they find the money to build up the grid?

King of Shaves and Jordan King

Talented Warwickshire motor racing star Jordan King has ensured that he will head into his fast-approaching 2012 campaign in the sharpest form possible – after tying up an ‘exciting’ new sponsorship agreement with British skincare business King of Shaves.
Over the next five weeks, Jordan will do battle for M2 Competition in the one-make Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand – the country’s premier, fastest and most fiercely-contested single-seater championship.
King of Shaves UK director Paul Adrian admits that the company is delighted to be backing the highly-rated Stoneleigh-based speed demon and BRDC Rising Star, one of Britain’s very brightest young prospects in the sport.
“King of Shaves is proud to announce its sponsorship of Jordan King for the 2012 season,” he affirms, “commencing with the New Zealand activity this weekend.”
Indeed, the 17-year-old Princethorpe College student will first take to the track at Teretonga, followed by outings at Timaru, Taupo, Hampton Downs and Manfeild – and he has set his sights suitably high.
It was, however, an outstanding performance almost 8,000 miles away that brought Jordan to King of Shaves’ attention in the first place, when he brilliantly clinched MRF Formula Championship title glory in front of all the influential F1 movers-and-shakers on the support package for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix in October of last year.
“Some of the key people from King of Shaves were there when we won the championship,” he explains, “and we got talking and then arranged a proper meeting back in the UK. It’s clearly a very prestigious company to be associated with, and a cool brand, too – and obviously it’s a particularly good fit with my surname as well!
“To have such a big company behind me and supporting my career like this is a tremendous boost. King of Shaves will help me to create an image for myself, and the deal makes things a lot more exciting looking ahead to the future. It feels like everything is really falling into place now – this is where it gets serious!”

Looks like itäs gonna be Dallara Formulino, but not "plus" version used in Formel Masters, but "pro" that has about F3 level of downforce... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

I wonder what engine they will use. The 1,6 Duratec didn't have enough power for old car and with all those wings and things, the Formulino Pro needs way stronger engine.
