Race 2 had some exciting racing, as is usual with the reversed grid. No one likes to punish success and good development, but I think we seriously need to have bigger ranges of ballast for the top cars. 60kg is not enough. this is even worse than a few years ago when the RML Chevrolets dominated.

Both races were far better than I thought they would be.

So good seeing the WTCC on the green hell. It didn't matter that it was Citroen dominance again, you could put a race of Sinclair C5s on the Nordschleife and I bet it would be exciting! Just seeing cars come off the new one and onto the old one, through the Flugplatz, Bergwerk, Karussel and Pflanzgarten, fever! The back straight was perfect for slipstreaming, something that was needed badly, just wish the Hondas had more straightline speed. And a 3 year deal is the icing on the cake.
Now we just need more cars for the remaining races. Hope Volvo come in. |

Here in Argentina where the touring car series abounds there are at least 5 drivers as fast as he is and maybe other 5 drivers "a tenth" slower. And probably a couple of them are less prone to make mistakes.
He is lucky where he is, he is fighting a Rally driver and an "old" touring star thats there for the bucks. Here he would be just another good fast driver. |

Nika contractually have to run a Swedish driver due to the Honda Sweden support, but no top-level drivers were available on the dates required. Eurosport tried to help too, but couldn't find anyone either.
