Nelson Piquet was a mechanic, and worked at Brabham' boxes in a extra-official GP in BrasĂ*lia, in 1974.
Pedro Diniz is the younger son of Abilio Diniz, one of the richest man of Brazil, owner of a big supermarket chain (PĂŁo de AçĂșcar). He started racing after his father told him to not race anymore on the roads with street cars.
Ayrton Senna started studying business management before going to Europe to compete at kart championships, and in 1994 he became the representative of Audi Brazil.

Not only did HHF drive a hearse for his dad's business, but he also had a sense of humour with it.
One story (from HHF himself) is that he'd sometimes pull up at red lights (and excellerate away)in the hearse while laying down sideways so it looked like there was no driver !!

Gené worked as accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, just for trivia.

Now, didn't Mika Hakkinen go to Circus school? I wonder if he ever acted in one...
