Damon,
I liked Mr. Hill immensely and I think he was terrific and has NEVER gotten the credit he deserved. I've also given up trying to defend the position because for some strange reason an honourable gentleman with guts and great emotional reserves is less revered than a mercurial genius of questionable ethics.

I've got two points to make on this
Like most people I hate the 'will so and so be the next Senna' stuff. No one is the next Senna, the same as noone is going to be the next me, or my brother, or Gregor Foitek.

The second reason is going to be very controversial. I don't think that Senna IS the best ever. I think he's extremely good, don't get me wrong. Its just I always thought that there are better, and I always felt trhat Prost was better. Senna was often forced to resort to underhand TGF-like tactics, (taking Prost off). I think that the main reason he gets all the adoration is that he is dead, and that it would never be like this if he were still alive.

Sorry if I've offended anyone, but that's just my opinion.

My friend BF, don't get me wrong, but I just read your post, and I immediately run my Donington '93, and you know something..., I don't care what you think about Mr. Senna. (R.I.P.)

I thought I was the only one . I'm glad some other people recognise real drivers when they see them.
