Token F1

Does anyone have any idea what became of the Token Formula One chassis debuted by Tom Pryce at Silvertone and later the 1974 Belgium GP?

A nice looking car. I saw it at Silverstone, but I think it suffered through lack of finance so wasn't that quick.

I have no idea what happened to it, just sharing the memories.

I may have a photo of it somewhere.

A little bit more info Here

Steve Wilkinson is a back marker
1976/77

In both 1976 and 1977 John Ravenscroft ran the Token RJ02 in the British Sprint Championship finishing in 7th place overall in both seasons. Ravenscroft only did a partial season in these years concentrating mainly on the Midland sprint venues.

Maximus.....
Thanks. Interesting looking car and IMO quite striking in its early green livery. Would love to see some chassis photos sans bodywork.

A couple of photos taken at the International Trophy, Silverstone 1974

I hope the tyre arrangement shown wasn't used!

Tom Pryce did a few slow laps in practise and retired in the race after a spin at Stowe.

I hadn't spotted this thread.

The Token stayed in the UK until 1989 when it was sold to a US dealer. He sold to a doctor in Florida but that's the last I heard of it.

The Token is apparently back in Belgium and has been entered by Christian Vanhee at Monaco.
