I wonder if we'll see many teams one-stopping.

I would be rather surprised if some outside the top 10 didn't, but it is unikely those inside will (unless someone highly unusual gets in somehow, with no chance of better than 9th/10th). I would also figure some of those outside the top 10 will 2-stop.
This race-fuel business over the last 5 years has definitely seen a drift away from one-stopping (even when it is perfectly possible now, and in the past certainly would've been done, the teams in question often seem to let is pass). The strange strategy where you do a 1-stop first stint, then short-fill for a spash-and-dash at the end, would be one example of this. Ferrari had a period when they were big on that system (it has never made any sense to me, but there you go). So, to put it more simply, I would reckon it will be something like 1/3 one-stopping with the rest on 2. Now the entire field will one-stop, with the specific aim of making me look like a fool (because I need help to achieve that, don't you know). |

I think the flat wings they always have on Monza. Why can't we have them throughout the whole season?

My God, the weather! I havn't seen a storm like that in a while. Teams struggling to keep water out of their respective areas!

My god, absolutely BREATHTAKING amount of water. And as the weekend continues like predicted, qualifying and the race itself can be pretty much a lottery. Hope Kimster can win, this kind of races are his chances to fight for the title.
So, Sutil fastest, but you can throw a waterbird with the times, no worth. |

Yeah, but he made his time in the beginning with intermediates. Not so much to speculate with, altough I think in this conditions Räikkönen and Hamilton will be at front with Kubica. Sutil, yes, he can surprise and maybe Alonso/Barrichello can do well, too. Massa seemed to struggle before the rain reached it's peak, so it will be interesting to see how he can cope with the weather.
McLaren has been better in cold/wet conditions than Ferrari, but that doesn't mean much this weekend. In that kind of weather, the ones who can keep their car on the road will succeed. Seems like "hero to zero" situation. And you thought Nürburgring '07 was epic? EDIT: Yes, I meant that Sutil/Barrichello etc. made their times in the beginning, so the times are pretty much no worth. Had that been the race,I counted maybe 25....30 off track excursions. That's a lot of drive-throughs and 25 second penalties to keep track of.
