OK, many of us have had their say.......now can people please post and say would they prefer closer to a 50/50 split or do they/would they prefer 2/3rds majority of their favourite brand.

I prefer 50/50.

Regardless of the gear a team may be using, I still think the almighty $$ is the one thing that gets you to the front of the grid.

Sure I'd prefer more Fords out there, but its no use having more cars making up the numbers if they are down the back. Holden may wish to stack the numbers, but at the end, 3 blokes get on the podium.

I'll always enjoy seeing some lesser teams punch above their weight and some younger drivers do well, but unless you are in the top 10 and more importantly top 5, you dont get on the TV. Has anyone seen what Tony D'alberto looks like these days? I also wouldnt recognise Mark McNally if I fell over him!

I noted in another post that I felt the Holden $$ will dry out with the benefactors being those up front come the end of 2010. Ford may have well helped themselves by weeding out perceived dead wood to help push dollars back to DJR to reward good results.

I think Bluesport that many of us would prefer to see something lke 20%-20%-20%-20%-20% but it looks like we are stuck with something approximating a double badged one make series.

People are free to support who or whatever they want, just because someone support a driver, or team doesn't automatically make them intelligent and the Ford/Holden followers somehow have issues!!

It doesn't matter what you support, it's all good. The only issues are when someone believes they are somehow superior because they support one or the other.

One constant I see throughout the bulk of Aussie tin top racing history is red vs blue, certainly agree introducing other brands is the way to go but take the red vs blue away and the series will be a shadow of it's former self.

Oh, and i'm an

Capris, Escorts, 30s Coupes / Monaros, FEs, LJs, Toranas etc are nice cars.

It's with good reason that such cars create enthusiasts and fans for each marque then IMHO?

I clearly explained, if you follow HRT purely for the fact they drive 'commodores' then you have issues. Anyone here who is double digits still believe in santa? Same theory, you'd be called nuts for thinking its true when its clear for all to see (and was even shown in detail at the last race meeting)

This explains it better if you still missed what i'm saying.

As long as there are more Blue cars then red cars in the top 10 overall bluesport, I am generally happy. Ecstatic at 3 Blue cars on the Podium.

not likely. i may have to put up with it, but i don't have to like it.

you don't see the world in red or blue, but look at the grandstands. they are a sea of red vs blue. i guess that means some people still hold to that idea.

Thats nothing to do with the fans. Thats the teams selling red, or blue merchandise.

Personally i go for the black stuff

If HRT started selling Green merchandise, and SBR started selling yellow, i bet the colours would soon die out (not counting those people who bought a HRT shirt 10 years ago and still wear it religiously)
