Ferrari have canceld their launch due to heavy snow in Maranello, the car will now be launched online.

The McLaren certainly doesn't look ground-breaking at first sight. The angle of the exhausts though does suggest that they're still trying to blow some air somewhere, although it's difficult to see clearly from the photo's available. I suspect that they're trying to direct the airflow to the rear wing to help either with extra downforce, or to help when the wing has DRS activated.

Any benefit they get from the exhaust gases now will be meagre at best. The ones on the McLaren look like they might heat up the rear tyres a bit quicker, which is always a help - unless it's hot oil.

Ferrari has front pull-rod suspension that was last used by Minardi back in 2001. It also has pull-rod suspension at the rear for this season.

FI first car on track (Williams test run postponed).

Camera mounting positions have changed for this season AFAIK.

Interesting that when I stopped posting on this site a few years ago everyone was complaining about how there was no passing in F1, how expensive the racing was, how the big teams dominated, etc... Now that they have changed the rules to ensure more passing and save costs, everyone is up in arms about how ugly the cars are!! F1 fans are a funny lot, for sure!

Hoping the new Lotus doesn't follow the 'bump nose' trend. Maybe they'll do what McLaren has done? We'll see tomorrow.
