Overalls free to a good home

A few years ago I was given a pair of drivers overalls. Sadly they have now shrunk in the wardrobe to the extent that they no longer fit me round what I still fondly think of as my waist.

So if anyone would like a good pair of thick Nomex overalls for marshalling (no longer acceptable to scrutineers for drivers and anyway that was not what was in the mind of the donor) and would like to discuss arrangments for collection, handover or paying the postage, then please PM me.

Would fit someone about 5' 2" to 5' 4", about 12 stone max depending on how that was distributed. (Actually I'm a bit surprised I ever managed to get into them but they served me for a number of years as rally overalls - just right for those long cold days.) Light blue with pinstripe pattern.

Regards

Jim

Dammit! Just missed the opportunity of some free overalls but remind me, was 5'4" height or width?

So you've also discovered the unrealised problem with cotton that if it's left too long in a dark place it shrinks.

There will be lots of secondhand race suits at the end of this season as the 1986 (or is it 1996) certification becomes invalid. A gentle word in drivers' ears will probably liberate a good many sets.... :-)
