It is clearly Williams philosophy to spend on the car rather than drivers, but I think signing Pizzonia and Rosberg for next year is taking that a little too far. Both could be great drivers eventually, but I think it would be premature to employ both of them for 2004 or 2005.

If FW wanted to dump salary, he would NOT sign Pizzonia and Rosberg. The quickest and cheapest way to switch drivers for Williams is to pick up a desperate JV who would drive for minimum wage to be at a competitive team again (especially one where he's already won a WDC). Or they will pick up Fisi who is in the same boat (wants to compete) and would be even cheaper.
