Can't wait. I will only be able to get to Brands and Donnington this year, so the Motors coverage is a godsend.

Vantage GT3 chassis number

Trying to list all the Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 by their chassis number (visible on the bottom left of the windscreen) and races made.

Once again I would be very interested if it will be possible for those who have the chance to access the British GT at Rockingham stands to note the chassis numbers of the Vantage GT3 relative to their race number.

I know that Oman racing Team/ Motorbase Performance raced chassis 020, 023 and a third one but I don't know what race number for what chassis number ?
#2 Oman Racing Team / chassis ?
#4 Oman Racing Team / chassis ?
#6 Oman Racing Team / chassis ?

And could you confirm that :
#007 Beechdean AMR race chassis X3
#11 22GT Racing race chassis 029
#17 TF Sport race chassis 028
#27 TF Sport race chassis 016

Many thanks

More damage for the Von Ryan team, looks like one car had a brake failure and took out the other, big impact but both ok.

Potentially brake failure but Salih Yoluc was an absolute weapon at Oulton so I'm not entirely sure. Expensive parts bill for Von Ryan so far this year.

Looks like it could rain before the end of the race.

Cant believe Adam Carroll was disqualified for that contact, sure it was his fault but why not a stop go penalty?

A good race and plenty of action, GT4 winner took a big swig of champers so that could cause a few problems as she is only 16

Lol, I think she may be 17 now (according to Driver Database) but I see your point. They may serve meals with it though, you never know...

Finally some pace from Attard/Sims, was it regulations or bad luck at Rockingham? Some of the "equalisation" measures the series takes are ludicrous...

Great to be able to watch it live as I was gutted not to be able to go. I also thought Carroll deserved a penalty but not a DQ.

Was a shame the lead battle was decided by a mistake rather than a pass, but a deserved win.

A good days racing as always, after seeing both the Von Ryan cars at the end of the day, those lads have a lot of damage to fix.

Heres my track side vid from the GT's + F4's, not the best but enjoy

I'm sure we all waited until our 18th birthday (* or equivalent age in your jurisdiction) to have our first drink of tasty, tasty booze.

Whilst it is probably Bad Form for a minor to be seen swigging from the champers on the podium, it's a strange ritual for everyone seeing how Drink Driving is such a no-no.

There have been some races stateside where the winner was under the legal drinking age so they didn't give them champagne but some type of sparkling juice instead.

just watched the coverage. did anyone in race control notice the GT4 Aston had flicked on its right hand indicator presumably to signal the Ferrari past and then as the track narrows and the Ferrari is off line the back seems to step out under braking on the marbles and tagged the Aston. Exclusion? seems a bit much

Exclusion was way too much for a simple incident. A drive-thru/stop-go would've been enough. Eastwood has threatened to quit.

Salih Yoluc needs to be banned...

...great racing though!

presume Yoluc have effectively been banned - he got 6 points and exclusion at Oulton and same again at Rockingham - that must be some sort of record! - 12 points means licence lost? How does a muppet like this get a licence to race such cars?....

According to Autosport today his UK licence has been suspended. He may look at GT Open (where, incidentally, there are far fewer cars for him to hit)

I know they are selling their equipment off, but one can always hope.

so how does he race in another series - if his licence is suspended then its suspended?
Or will Daddy just buy another licence in Europe? very confused or is it more Autosport reporting without them understanding the rules? What ever BGT would seem a safer place without him!

I didnt see what happened at Oulton Park but wasn't his accident at Rockingham caused by brake failure, thats what was mentioned on the coverage? If it wasn't then an incredibly poor piece of driving.

Yoluc drove over the rear wheel of another car, so that meant he lost control and slammed his teammate. He's banned for 3 months in the UK, but I think it's only the UK where it applies...

brake failure - schmake failure He was out of control and ploughed into his team mate. At Oulton he was weaving around infront of the leaders despite blue flags - oh and being 4 laps down .....- and then fired several cars off. I gather there was quite a queue of disgruntled drivers outside his Garage! It would seem his prime qualification is Daddys cheque book ...... He needs to go elsewhere .... Like Essex arena
