Watched some V8 Supercar racing last night !
Motorsport Mundial shown on Speedvision had some short clips last night. I wish they would show more of this racing in Canada ! It's WAYYY more exciting than NASCAR ( and it's junior ranks ) going round in circles.
Forgive my ignorance , but are all of the cars Holden Commodores and Ford Falcons ?? I wish Ford and GM sold sporty rear wheel V8 sedans er.. saloons here ! I'll keep my eyes open for more of this racing ! Alan |

glad you enjoyed it Alan and i hope you get to see more as well.
yes we have 2 manufacturers in the championship Ford and Holden but there has been talk over the last 2 years that Toyota would like to play in the sandbox as well. we are currently involved in our biggest race of the year the bathurst 1000 which lasts for just over 6 hours ..great weekend. look out for that one when you can. in the meantime why not check out their official website at www.v8supercar.com.au have a look through the photo gallery ..just brilliant. anyway welcome aboard our V8 juggernaut ..buckle up it sometimes gets bumpy

I've seen some V8 coverage here in the UK, on Channel 5 at 7.30pm, but it's only about 10-15 mins worth. not a lot really.

They had a little DTM this morning on a Foxtel show called Motoworld...also there was a big piece on the 24hr Pedel Prix, where a certain Mr Race Time got a mention
 That looks like a bucket of fun...i wouldn't mind having a crack at an event like that, I'd imagine my race craft would more than make up for my fat arse
