It's not only a matter of price, raising a 150k budget for Italian F3 with noone on the track to watch and no tv is much harder than 400k for a Eurosport televised series

65 000 Euros for Historic racing is already quite expensive....
Regarding the reasons why some drivers are missing is all the cars have not been delivered yet...so teams have to run one drivers on the morning and other one on the afternoon... still 3 weeks to go for the first race in Valencia ... Seems like Bruno Senna was invited to test the development car as they had a lot of problems for this roll out , the test finished after only 4 laps when he went out at "Ascari", the car is out of Service... Avila only completed 6 laps, apparently gearbox problems.

One thing that is important though is where teams place the series budgetwise. I read on an Italian site V. Sospiri (Euronova boss, ex F3000 champion ) claiming a price of 500k per year, almost Euroseries territory. I would think it is a bit unwise for Masters to compete with Euroseries, even if the cars are bit faster than F3s. |

I don't mean this year's grid specifically but the price-placing of the series in the long term.

I know I may be a pest in asking about this person...but is there any more information about him? There are some articles about him, but nothing too convincing. Reason I ask is, there are some news that he is contacting for the Formula Nippon series. And me being here in Japan, we really have no resources for him. |
