Well, Gilles Lives, considering yours was the very first guess on this post, it was pretty good. It was just 2 tenths out from the very first qualifying lap set by Team Australia today. Although the actual pole time was a second or so quicker, its still close

The lap times i'd like to know are that of Sepang in November, as the only circuit also on the current F1 calendar.

Anyone care to take a guess ?

Heres the F1 stats: Kimi set this years fastest lap with 1:35.483 (avg speed 208) whilst the "slowest" was 1:43.558

My guess....1:49

Sepang would be far slow I belive, probably around 1:55s?
F1 cars have silly ammounts of acceleration down the straights, and they have silly ammounts of grip in thoose mickey mouse corners.

But i'll probably be wrong

The A1GP cars appear to be a little slower than the GP2 cars, which themselves are usually 10-12 seconds slower than the back of the F1 grid.

I reckon 1.54

Edited to add, doesn't A1GP show that cars do not have to be silly fast, like current F1 cars, to be exciting to watch.
