Kixx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The recently formed "Australian Race Engineering" today announce that they will be competing in the 2004 V8Supercar Championship. While details are being finalised regarding drivers and sponsorship arrangements, we can confirm that we have in place a commercial arrangement with Holden Ltd that will see the team field, at this stage two, VY Commodores. Whilst we cannot reveal all information, we feel it is important to keep the fans informed, and have therefore released exclusively to Ten Tenths preliminary details. We shall provide all details as they are finalised.

After a fairly successful first season, XXXX Team Qld Racing is pleased to announce that it will be contesting the whole V8 Supercar fantasy league season this year. Major sponsor XXXX is back on board, and the cars will retain their familiar maroon and white liveries. New to the team will be freshly built VY Commodores, and the team is very optomistic for the year ahead, opting to run three drivers.

Name: XXXX Team Qld Racing
Cars: VY Holden Commodores
Drivers: #77 Mark Skaife
#66 Jason Richards
#55 Dale Brede
Test track: Queensland Raceway
Sponsors: XXXX, Four'n'Twenty pies, Castrol.

Kixx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Australian Race Engineering is proud to announce National Software Pty Ltd as it's primary sponsor in 2004. National Software will join NGK, Olex Cables and Yamaha as our commercial partners.

National Software Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned company located in the city of Launceston, Tasmania. The company has specialized in supplying accounting software for the small to medium business market.

The company’s origins go back to 1983 when a need was seen for an accounting software package that was designed specifically for the Australian market. Starting out by supplying custom written packages to Tasmanian businesses, the package soon gained popularity for it's reliability and functionality to the extent where NATSOFT has clients in the USA.

We are also proud to announce the signing of the Kelly brothers as our drivers, and to release first pictures of the car they will be campaigning.

Official details are as follows:

Name: Australian Race Engineering
Sponsor(s): Natsoft, NGK, Olex, Yamaha
Drivers:
#36 Todd Kelly
#38 Rick Kelly
Manufacturer: HOLDEN

Sure puts some other liveries in the shade despite the fact that it is a Holden.

I think a few of the real teams could learn a thing or two about livery design from you, Kixx.

In official matters:

AussieV8 and F|sh, I believe you've both blown the salary cap to the tune of $250,000. You've got until the 17th to change this or else I'll have to bring out the dreaded DSQ!

Rowdy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
After a promising start at the non-championship Aus GP from the teams No1 driver Jason Bargwanna. Team owner Orrcon King was delighted to announce that Smiley.com have increased their partnership in the team which will now enter the season renamed Smiley Racing The team has also released the striking yet slightly sickening livery to go with the new sponsorship arrangement. The announcement could not have come at a better time since the loss of 'The Paying Public' sponsorship after an unfortunate nightclub incident generated some poor publicity.

Archer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
ARCHER RACING PRESS RELEASE

Archer Racing is supremely serious about taking the championship flag this year. Post Grand Prix the team has decided to take a different approach to the up and coming first championship round in Adelaide, going from half heart, to full heart.

At the GP Archer Racing rushed to scramble together the remnants of last years team, using outdated cars and making unwise decisions in driver selection in opting for two pay drivers to pilot the teams second and third commodores next to Simon Wills. Unfortunately Tony Longhurst and Warren Luff understood the conditions of their contract. If the team were to acquire funds from elsewhere, meaning pay drivers were not required, they would be dismissed.

Because of Simon Wills’ brilliant effort at the GP Archer Racing has been able to acquire several associate partners for the full championship. With this cash injection, it also means that Archer Racing will also have three brand spanking new VY Commodores in Adelaide, not the hybrids that were at the GP.

Archer Racing would like to thank the following

Titleholder: Archer Enterprises Pty Ltd
Major Partners: Holden, Coopers, Playstation
Minor Partners: Dunlop, Mobil 1, Qantas, PPG, Yamaha, Snap on Tools, NGK

Finally in the teams effort to become more streamline and high profile a new numbering system has been adopted for the Archer Racing triplets. For the remainder of the year the new and exciting Archer Racing line-up is as follows:

#11 Jason Bargwanna
#22 Simon Wills
#33 Jason Richards
