TRC Regs

They're not on the BARC Central website and the SE region webpage doesn't seem to have quite recovered itself yet, so does anyone have an electronic copy of the regs available?

Or perhaps you could point me in the direction of the co-ordinator?

Thanks if you can help

Dan

Could you email me a set of the regs too please?

Interested to see how competitive my Stock Hatch would be, or how much it would take to 'convert' it.

You can email to ste@stockhatch.net if that's OK.

Cheers!

It's me ears. They've become tuned to the sound and I be addicted. Adrenaline is not brown it's got a big grin on it's face and it sounds like a V8! Yeee harrr!

The only thing that could be better is a BRM V16!!

And it has to be a Chevy, a Rover just does not sound the same, trouble is when you are driving the things it is just a racket, its the spectators that get the sound vibes.

I'll have to send you the link for the in-car sounds of the BRM, it's awesome.
You might find it somewhere on here if you search for BRM V16

Caution: Do not burn to CD and play in your car - you will find yourself going a little too fast on the public highway!

Rob.

Thanks for emailing them Grahame, just one thing, well two actually that I am not clear on.

Can I run my Camaros in class B as it states 2001cc and over then for class A it says unlimited cc so a bit confusing and it was a little vague about the tyres. It states you cannot use List1b tyres except for some Dunlops so does that mean they have to be List 1a or do slicks and everything else go.

The restricted tyres list only applies to the roadgoing classes, doesn't it?

As I understand it Class B is Modified Saloons over 2001, Class A is "free" - Class B has more restrictions (chassis, original block etc) so if the Camaro is outside these in any way then it moves up to Class A. That's from the 2004 regs, tho, I haven't looked at the 2005 ones so don't know if they differ much.

yes your camaro's would be class B unless they have the wrong engines in them

you can use whatever tyres you like

I would'nt mind having a go at the Brands Grand Prix round as that is without doubt a brilliant circuit to race on, don't care much for the Indy circuit funny enough. I will have to decide what car and tyres though, the 3rd gen will probably be the most competitive as it has a very stout Clive Bond built engine in that one as opposed to a self built in the 2nd gen car plus it weighs a lot lighter even though still all steel and glass. Just got to finish a few mods on the 3rd gen car as sioon as I get the 2nd gen out the workshop which should be in a couple of weekends max.

Hi Andy, how are you? I am fine if not a little (lot) older, Are you still racing Escorts? I spoke with Len Colley on the phone recently he phoned the shop enquiring about some graphics I think he is going to join the geratric racers brigade!

Isn't there a picture of you totalling it on the RSCC site? Am I thnking of the right Andy, you were the electrician was'nt you? I get you mixed up with Andy Pike who I used to race against in Road Saloons and did not like me using my A-frame to get the car back from the circuit :-(

Or maybe I have it the wrong way round!
