PAU - 2010

Never been to a street circuit, so I was think about PAU.

Now the WTCC is not going there, does anybody know if there will be an event there in 2010.

And for anybody who has been there, is it worth the trip, are there decent places to spectate from.

Any help on planning a trip there would be much appreciated.

A great place to spectate-I have been 4 times-81,85,86 & 92.Had not heard that WTCC was not going-maybe good news as I'm not a great tin top fan. There has been a meeting since 1933-only cancelled due to WW2 I think. There is also a historic meeting the following weekend nowdays.

I was there as media for 4 days in 2006 for the BF3 visit - fantastic circuit, very picturesque. Apart from humping your kit up and down the hills every day it's a photographers dream......

I love it, and will return as soon as I can

thanks folks - I was a bit worried when I saw the WTCC wasnt going there, that I may have missed a chance to see the circuit.

Shall keep an eye open for info, and make sure I make an effort to go in 2010.

Real shame that if they`ve had a meeting every year since 1933 except for WWII that they are unable to run a meeting in 2010. (hope its not cos they heard I wanted to visit!)

Have heard that cancellation is not due to WTCC safety car fiasco, but is as a result of new young, female "Green" town mayor getting elected last year.

I'm sure the original press release said it was down to finance and the current lack of it. They decided to take a years break.
