I think I'd like to see Ford in Sportscars with a Ford badged car. It's always good to see the more manistream manufacturers doing something that as well as the smaller specialists.

would like to see Mazda with their own in-house car, like the this new concept car, it is to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. Note the driver names of Bach and Devlin on the side.
....."Mazda will launch another concept of the much acclaimed Nagare design language. Dubbed the Furai, it is based on a Courage prototype chassis. Power comes from a three rotor rotary engine." |

But, of course, I'd like to see BMW enter GT racing. Also, Nissan with a GT-R derivate and Mazda with a proper Wankel. |

I think anyone that puts together a solid program is more than welcome to join the fray. M-B would definitely put together a top notch effort. Is Norbert really any worse than Wolfgang? |

Indeed, thanks. Just had a look at the Dec'07-update, and is looks promising. We'll be seeing a GTR in rl at Sebring by the looks of it!
(and then to think I'm planning a road trip from Denver to Sebring in a Mustang ) |

I'd love to see the M5 or M6 in GT Racing - an engine like that is just screaming to be let loose down the Mulsanne, isn't it? |

Personally I would like to see Jaguar again, Toyota also with a GT-One modernized, and especially Mercedes trying to wash his image ...

Still, I'd like BMW to create an M1 successor. A stylish, sleek mid-engine coupe chassis (preferably designed by Henrik Fisker in cooperation with the M GmbH) and go nuts with the engine. Something like a tuned and updated 6l version of the V10 would tickle my fancy. |

Manufacturers that would be very welcome back in sports car racing:
LMP1: Ford with a Lola chasis have been successful in the past and would be a welcome entry into present day LMP1. Mercedes would also be a solid entry. How about Renault or Matra? Also Lancia with a Ferrari engine! Everyone is certainly looking forward to a Chevy entry. GT1/GT2: I would love to see a GT1/GT2 from Jaguar or bring back an updated version of the Lister Jag. Alfa Romeo could make a nice GT2 but wouldn't do so with Ferrari in it. DK |

I'd like to see Ferrari make a GT1 car based on the 599 GTB, a successor to the 550 and 575s Prodrive ran.
