I got the impression from what Bourdais said when interviewed that they made quite a few changes over the three days and finally started to get things right on Sunday - which might explain why they both improved. I also heard/read somewhere that the chassis had been swapped around a bit - the suggestion being that this was between teams rather than within the teams. Might have misunderstood the implications of that of course. At Donington I could see that some cars seemed to have very smooth gear changes and others not at all smooth. This was especially noticable out of slow corners - Foggy esses for example - where the first up change on some cars was really jerking the driver's head and on other cars they were completely smooth. I doubt this was a driver thing, but you never know. As I recall the Sevilla car went out of the second race at Donington with battery failure which was a bit puzzling. Club racing on a tight budget you might expect that but not really something you would expect in something like Superleague. Obviously running for three days in the sun has helped the team somewhat. |

you won't regret seeing (and hearing ) it, just avoid any preconceived ideas of how qualifying and races should happen. if you're a motorsport purist... well, you probably won't enjoy it
